Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A reputable elementary school in Lockport, NY is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support its student population for the upcoming contract school year (CSY). This role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in psychological assessment and intervention within a vibrant educational environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for elementary students to identify learning needs and develop appropriate intervention strategies.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide ongoing support.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and recommend adjustments to support services.
• Deliver counseling and crisis intervention services as required.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with education regulations.
• Work a schedule from 8:35 AM to 3:35 PM, ensuring availability during school hours.

Qualifications:

• Valid certification and licensure as a School Psychologist.
• Experience providing psychological services in an elementary school setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of assessment tools and intervention techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
• Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and maintain detailed records.
